Recipe: Tzatziki

Here is the recipe for my many of omnivores and antiveganem audience tested and found to great tzatziki (or is it tzatziki?).

Makes a large bowl full.

  • 1 ½ cucumbers grate coarsely (if not grater or food processor is available, they can of course kleinschnibbeln also) with me, the tzatziki total always very fluid - can possibly should / If the liquid does the chopped cucumber strain
  • 2 medium onions in thin (half) rings cut
  • 1-3 garlic cloves mini dice (if necessary it is also without, if you have sensitive guests )
  • all with 2 large cups (= 1kg) soy yogurt Nature and a packet of Soy Cuisine stir
  • now comes in the taste: abundant salt , pepper (preferably white), sugar white balsamic vinegar and oil incorporated, season to taste every now and again
  • last still a bunch chives and dill best shave with scissors in the tzatziki
