Thick White Discharge Pre Period

Berlusconi dégagé!

The dilemma with the Tunisians and the Egyptians that the movement is a movement against social and economic inequalities actually. The primary malcontents do a better economic system. Since it is actually a stroke of luck that these countries are ruled by kleptocratic Diktaroren (were). This allows the people's anger against these figures discharged. The problem is that it is possible for a regime change hardly expect improvement, because the dictators will disappear with only some of the causes. It is probably appropriate in Tunisia even more optimism than in Egypt. Democracy alone will not fix the problem!

was similar in South Africa. There too, the blacks wanted primarily to share the living standards of whites. Overcoming the apartheid regime was certainly a great advance, but the basic economic ills was not removed and thus is the most blacks are not much better today than then.

another (inverted) Example is Italy. Paradepeispiel that democracy is no guarantee of economic justice and wisdom. That autocrats like Berlusconi can also switch from a democratic guise to exercise discretion and while the state and society is decomposed by corruption is a very instructive example. Again, conversely, economic policy in China pretty much everything is done correctly, though from where democracy can not be discussed.

out democracy (as Plato has already shown) to populism and sooner or later to despotism. Shown is that in Italy. Despotism in turn leads to call for freedom (Tunisia and Egypt) and so on.

Conclusion: Democracy is necessary to create but not sufficiently to bring about stability and prosperity for all. It also needs the application of certain principles. Here is my selection in a somewhat random order:
1) an economically autonomous middle class (the Roman republic could exist only on a layer of free peasants ...)
2) strict separation of powers (checks and balances)
3 ) of course, fundamental rights, which are indisputable nor by democratic decisions.
4) A coherent, credible and legally compliant acting executive ("Monarchical" element), an informed decision-making in the legislative process ("aristocratic" element), a renewal of the "elites" by election (or markets) and the possibility of direct intervention by a vote (democratic element).
5) local competencies to enable the citizen remains maximum (eg federalism).
6) follows from the foregoing that: to make diversity in the media, without the possibility of a single political force, the opinions in the media.

Example of Italy: 1) is reduced continuously, 2), 3), 4) and 6) were thoroughly undermined and 5) for the purpose of separatist ideas abused ...
